Adams disgraceful, ignorant and unjust comment towards children with disability!

I am sorry I disagree with those that are on the net trying to say that Adam’s remark was mild, ignore, so what! So what? I will tell you so what. Adam also works with children of disability and for a person whose profession is to work with children to say such a drastic, ignorant comment is despicable. Adam’s character not only sucks, he is unprofessional, sullied and inescapably ignorant.

I do not think that children who cannot speak for themselves or their families should have to put up with such outrageous uncalled for ignorant comments even if it is reality show! How much is too much? Last year we had to put up with Amber and her stupidity, this year we have Adam superseding Amber with his uniformed demeanour and attitude towards helpless children! Yes people are upset nor do I blame them. CBS should limit and edit comments that are not favourable towards the infrastructure of other human beings. It is not a matter of turning the channel as some suggest it is a matter of the TV execs taming their desire to have the best ratings.

It is not always about sensationlism money or ratings but the basic of human dignity is at stake with comments made by some reality show characters. It is inexcusable in this day and age to have to tolerate the vulgarities of ignorance directed at other human beings. It is unmistakably rude and hurtful to some people and their families. I read different arguments on different blogs and web forums. Some people are defending Adam with Freedom of Speech as their ace in the hole. Yes people have the right to freedom of speech, however, so do people who do not wish to tolerate such despicable and disgusting comments by others on a reality show. Children and/or people with disabilities are not to be regarded as nothings without any feelings, they have and experience the same human feelings as the rest of us; and even if they cannot talk for themselves or stand up for themselves, they know when someone has insulted and offended them!

There is a core in every human being that tells them what they are doing is right and/or wrong. In my opinion Adam didn’t make the comment because he is not dealing with a full deck of cards.  Adam made the comment because he is aggressively pursing his selfishness of sensationalism, to be on the mouths of households and to be recognized as a Mr. reality show himself. I think Adam knew full well what he was saying and doing and he intentionally made such a brash statement in order to offend others for his pursuance of stardom.

Adam plays a big part in these children lives because he takes care of these children therefore he is also considered one of their teachers. If it was not so disgraceful I may pity Adam but I choose to feel badly for the children that have to put up with Adam as their caregiver.  I prefer to feel badly for the families he has hurt by making that comment! Clearly it is not acceptable in the year 2008 for others to display such cruel statements that shakes the conscious of America’s democracy! While everyone has the right to freedom of speech, freedom of speech is also limited when it affects the greater needs and good of societies, communities, cities and countries. Adam should only be recognized and bear the shame of his comments against children that are vunerable and unable to defend themselves. It should not be ignored by viewers of America or Canada. Children with disabilties and their families struggle on a daily contingencey to cope with their disabilties, it is not something that anyone should make light of nor should it be something we ignore.

Big Brother Till Death do us part: First Show Meets Expectations!

Greetings big brothers fans, and are we in for a wild ride this winter. Much to my pleasure!

First show in the winter season starts with an unexpected big bang! It usually takes two weeks before Big Brother heats up, last night’s show, served as a notice that the winter debut is going to be winter worthy for viewers like myself who have been waiting with great anticipation to the treat of having a big brother in mid winter! Talk about first night fireworks abound! Where should I start!

The HG’s all go flooding into the new and improved Big Brother house, squealing and celebrating, getting to know each other, and looking very pleased and happy with their new found stardom! Their happiness would only be for a moment when some of the houseguests realize that their stay will not be as pleasant as they expect. We have the twist of a BF and GF Jen and Ryan, who had planned to play the game together unknown to the other HG’s. We have a recently broken up couple Sharon and Jacob who would be pitted together, much to Sharon’s displeasure. We have Sheila who is the oldest and within 15 minutes of the show, somehow Sheila realized she may of made a bad mistake being on the big brother cast. (More about Sheila later). Then we have a gay duet, which by natural selection were cast together. The rest of the cast are a mix and match of many remnants of former big brother HG’s. The ditzy ones, the bitchy ones, the he man, and the guy who thinks he is god’s gift to women but he really is not. Hopefully they won’t try to mimic past HG’s and stay within their own true characters.

 

The Drama began in the first 10 minutes of the show. Julie Chen reveals to the viewers and the HG’s a surprise, they will not be playing alone, they will have a partner, until death or eviction do they part. This announcement was not taken well or lightly by some of the HG’s. Sheila looked liked she had actually been told she was going to die any minute. She was not happy and I couldn’t blame her. I have been reading different comments today on some of the blogs. I think that Sheila has been given a bad review. While I agree it is not about looks, when it comes to relationships. The point is Sheila didn’t sign on to get into a relationship! Then we have her partner, no he is not handsome, but let’s be frank and honest, Adam has a lousy character and personality. I find him pretty controlling and domineering. He insists on calling her Mom and while he thinks he is being a card, Sheila finds it offensive and asked him to stop. Adam thinking he is god’s gift and that he will grow on Sheila (ha ha) calls her his pet name again. Yes Sheila was crying, but so far it is unfair to liken her to Amber of BB8. I would have cried too if I was selected to be with Adam. How often do we need to see him pick his nose and teeth. How
appealing for Sheila. I am sure when she said she was looking for a relationship, she did not think that she would have to put with someone like Adam.  Adam’s character sucks big time!

Jen and Ryan are an interesting duo, they both admit they are jealous and both seem to be competitive, however so far they both have kept their cool .So far! Something tells me as the season goes forth, that will change and fireworks will be in the BB house. Although I like that fact that BB did separate them. It would have been unfair to put them together and give them a huge advantage over the rest of the HG’s.

The one duet that give me a good hearty laugh are the broken up couple. Sharon and Jacob. He cheated and she intends to make him pay for that in the BB house! She is just on him like white on rice! She seems to be a cocky, upbeat, strong lady and I think that Jacob is going to be worn down by the time she gets through with him. The looks she gives him, her tone, and her attitude. Hey I like this girl. . She dismisses him left and right and he has no choice but to accept it. Thunder and lightning vibes coming from that couple. The rest of the HG’ are ok, but they have yet to show their character, if Parker, Alison, Joshua, Neil, James, Chelsia, Alex, Amanda, Natalie and Matt are anything similar like the HG’s I gave a more detailed description of, then I think that we will enjoy the winter season and it will give everyone something to talk about.

Parker and Jen have won the first duet HOH’S. I think the will go with a safe bet as they always do the first show, first one’s down in a competition is the first’s one’s evicted. Under normal BB circumstances I would like to of seen Sheila stay but if she is only going to be tortured and tormented by having to partner up with Adam, it would be the best thing to let her out of her misery. I don’t think Adam is a showstopper and he has already got on my nerves, so I would dearly like to see him go.

Update: Sharon and Jacob evicted. I don’t know who is stupidier Jacob or Adam! Jacob thought
that if he brainstormed and started turning the house upside down right away, that he would sail to the end and look good in EX GF Sharon’s eyes. What! He looked so stupid in this move that Marcellas can now step down as the HG who made the dumbest move in BB History!

Seriousley! It is one thing to stir the pot but when one chooses to stir  the pot, it should be
well thought out not winging it and hoping for the best outome. Very stupid Jacob. Then when
Sharon had to pay by also being evicted along with the idiot Jacob, that made my blood boil.

Lucky for some of the Sharon fans that Neil has a family emergencey and Sharon is back
in the house.

Last night we had yet another bout of BB HG’s ignorance. Adam made a comment that is unsettling about children with disability. This guy works!! with children that have disabilties and he called them retards. I will write more about this in the next article. It was disgusting and disgraceful comment made by Adam!
