Idol Gives Back Charity Event

All across America there are millions of children that do not have enough to eat, that do not have the proper shelter. That live in extreme impoverished conditions. Last year Idol Gives back raised over 75 million dollars to aide children and families in desperate need of help. This year Idol gives back hopes to exceed the millions that were raised to continue with their success of helping American families and African families specifically the children that are helpless and in need of intervention . Every dollar helps. Your donation will help save and improve lives, specifically children’s lives. If children are our future, why are we not doing enough to aide them in their time of need? Children and families in need have been ignored far too long.

The plight of children in Africa, glimpses into the harsh reality that some of these children face on a daily contingency. Many are parentless, impoverished, destined to live as sub cultural groups on the streets in Africa, and abused mentally and physically. African children living in these conditions are bedraggled, sad, lost and in some cases confused. The harsh realities of their life age them beyond their years. Children in Africa face their brutal life of, lack of food, lack of clean water, and lack of proper shelter as well as their health and well being ignored by their fellow humans. African Children’s harsh realities include being preyed upon by every danger of brutality in life that is imaginable and sometimes-impending death.

Last year I wrote the following:

It is far better to start something, to give something, to help someone, then to complain about the reasons that an event in helping another has taken place. Idol Gives back is not about why Idol Gives Back, is about bringing much needed awareness to human tragedy, struggle and depravation. It is about children that are suffering tremendously and have for the most part been ignored by the rest of the world. It is about people from all sub- groups and culturals giving to their fellow man.  It is about people from mainstream society to the upper-class coming together and not only participating in the event but trying to give back to improve the fragile living conditions of those that have indeed been beaten down by life’s harsh realties. It is about the littlest and most innocent of human beings whose survival relies upon the mercy and generosity of their fellowman/humans. It is about decencey and respect for all human existence and life.

I identify Idol Gives Back as an event that is about real life struggle, hope, and survival for children and people who are living in extreme poverty conditions. The event is about how together we can accomplish anything. There should never be barriers in effort to help others. If you look at any photos of those persons that are living under the duress of extreme poverty, that are starving and in some cases dying. Look into their eyes; no matter what country they come from, what their cultural is, or what color they are, they all look the same. They have NO HOPE OR LIGHT LEFT IN THEIR EYES OR SOUL! We are all interconnecting branches to each other. The conditions that we face and those of us who choose to help another, only serves to strengthen humanity. Every time we help each other as individuals or as a group, we make humanity and this world stronger.

There is no greater reward or even in riches then to see the light come back into the eyes of those that have been browbeaten down in life. There is no greater reward then to see children happy and the light shining in their eyes, that children are well and healthy again. There will never be enough money in the world as a reward or conquest as great as helping others and even saving lives.

This last video shows improvement with the money raised last year. There is still more to
undertake and improve upon.

Idol Gives Back raises awareness of the plight of millions of little children in America and globally in Africa. For the sake of the children and humanity, please consider giving and give generously. Generosity can be deemed at what one can give! Give and give generously folks!
