Cerie blindsides Ozzie and his Immunity Idol!

Tell me it isn’t so! Please tell me that Ozzie did not make the same mistake that James made. Oh my folks Cerie’s blindside sends Ozzie to jury! For the second time in recent Survivor history a survivor that has the immunity Idol, is blindsided. The ladies are working over the men and tonight blindsided Ozzie. I wanted to see Ozzie in the finals, but really, it was hysterical as the ladies moved him out. James just about keeled over, thinking to himself no not again.

Ozzie had the immunity idol and should have used it, and James knows it because he lived the nightmare of his own demise in Survivor China while he was holding two immunity idols. Ozzie said that he thought he was an idiot and he should of saw it coming, he also had some unflattering things to say to his alliance and that he pretty much hates them. I guess he does since they outplayed him! Ozzie acknowledges that he got to comfortable, that he did and since he did, he is partly responsible for trusting anybody because the ultimate prize is one million dollars.

The mistake they made was sending Cerie to Exile Island, she had nothing but time on her hands and since Eliza outed Ozzie and told everyone last week before her own demise that Ozzie had the Idol, it had made him an even bigger threat. The immunity Idol is for just that Immunity, and it is not the best thing if the rest of the tribe knows you have it.

Jason and Parvati were both vying for individual immunity, at first the rest of the tribe thought they were hoodwinking Jason by getting him to step down so they could all eat, drink and be merry! Alas, Cerie had other plans and that was that she was going to work on moving Ozzie and his idol out. LMAO- I am sorry but this was just so hysterically funny to me. Ozzie of course became too smug with his position and a bit arrogant. He boldly said that Jason made a stupid move and he should have known better. Ozzie said that Jason was outplayed! in addition, outwitted!

Cerie of course did not see it Ozzie’s way! and in turn, it was Ozzie that was outplayed and outwitted. Now some folks are steamed, annoyed, upset, miffed and pissed off at Cerie because she did not fall into line and bend to Ozzie’s will, I have to laugh my butt off at the turn of events!

First, Cerie has really learned from her last experience on survivor Panama and instead of being the timid flower she was on survivor Panama, she is now playing game on those strong competitors and is in fact a strong competitor herself in the battle of wits. Frankly, I enjoyed it immensely! It is a million bucks at stake and Cerie was not in Ozzie’s alliance! Ah but Parvati was and previews for next week see James not so impressed with his girlfriends vote but also because she did not let him in on it. Parvati said she felt awkward to James, and James said, “Oh it is going to be awkward”!

Unlike other reality shows that we are viewing backdooring vs. blindsiding. I Love the blindside, simply because Ozzie could have saved himself and his arrogance and ego outwitted him and outplayed him. Then of course, Cerie really is the brain behind Ozzie’s demise. I said that Cerie is dangerous, and she has proven me right! Survivor is getting to be interesting, cannot wait to see what transpires next week! It looks like the ladies are gunning for James next week!

BB9 Spoiler Alert- Ryan WILL NOMINATE!

As we, all know Natalie was evicted last night. The boys reversed the tables on Sheila who selfishly wanted the boys to make it a two to nothing vote. The reason dear Sheila wanted this was because it would keep her hands clean in front of the jury if she made it to the final two.  In reality Sheila really backstabbed Natalie. Sheila was handed the HOH she did not win it. However, as a poster on a MB said and whom I agree with Natalie should not have given the HOH away to Sheila. It was the second time Nat made a mistake because she is trusting and unfortunately, her generosity and protection of others caused her demise. The boys really played the girls this week, because they called that meeting to force the girls to state who they were loyal to. Nat had told Sheila she would put her up if she got HOH, and Sheila and Sharon played mortified although it was more fear. Nat left tearful, I did feel sorry for her. However it is game and even though I would of loved to see Sheila’s backdoor plan blow up in her face, it is what it is!

Ryan has told Sheila he is putting her up on the block and he is thinking of putting up Sharon. Sharon and Sheila are grovelling and vying with Ryan. Sheila has already tried to throw both Sharon and Adam under the bus and Sharon is throwing Sheila and Adam under the bus. I think Ryan is going to throw both Sharon and Sheila under the bus in favour of Adam. I think that Ryan may just be telling Sharon and Sheila what they want to hear. Ryan also called Sharon baby! Is there a relationship blooming there! It will be interesting to see who is evicted. I think we should all root for Baller at this point, the rest are scum! Even though Baller made crude, remark, which made him, look bad. He is more loyal and a person of his word. I think at this point I DO WANT ADAM TO WIN THE WHOLE THING. Adam made a huge mistake at the beginning of the game and I think it was more that he was showing off and he did not think about the word he used against the disabled children he works with; however, Adam is showing signs of growth and I just like his loyalty! Ryan does not look like he really believes Sharon who was trying to throw Baller under the bus! I think Ryan is getting as much information as he can out of them! Sharon even tells Ryan that Adam and Sheila don’t care about him, like she really cares about him! These videos are great!

Mariah Carey has what it takes- Kristie Lee Cook Out!

This week on America Idol, it was Mariah Carey week. I am a huge fan of Mariah Carey and I personally own all of her music. I remember when I first heard her debut album I viewed a beautiful young woman that had the voice of angel. Mariah Carey has truly made her presence known worldwide and has rightfully earned the title Diva and the status of legend!

While Mariah Carey did have some stumbles along her career path, she managed to come back swinging and her record sales are always on top. I remember when Mariah Carey was first married, I believe she had an interview with Diane Sawyer, Miss Sawyer ended up saying of the budding Star, “She is very nice”! That is what Mariah Carey is a very nice beautiful, talented woman and Diva turned legend!

When I watched Mariah Carey this week on American Idol, I saw a mature woman who still had the vocals that caused a standing ovation all through her song, but she was more graceful and was full of wisdom. Having said that I do not think that Mariah Carey week was the best week for the competitors, their peformances were not exactly stellar performances . The truth is Mariah Carey like other singers before her, cannot be done! Just like Patti Labelle, Aretha Franklin, Barbara Streisand, Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys, Bette Midler, Stevie Wonder, Sir Elton John, just to name a few- ok more then a few! These stars some of whom are legendary also cannot be done! It is not so much that the viewers are comparing the Idol competitors to these legends! It is because these singers are unique, coiffed and experienced. While the competitors did try their best, it really was a bad night for them in terms of vocal prowess! However, I do think it is a great thing for the competitors to meet all these stars, it is very good for them to see and hear their stories of how they made it!

This week Kristie Lee Cook was eliminated! The funny thing is I really thought she was not that bad this week in comparision to other weeks. On the other hand, it was not enough because she only did have the odd good peformance! Kristie was very gracious about her demise! I also think that Kristie Lee Cook is better at country then pop. I think if she goes down the country road she would have a carreer in music. Kristie Lee Cook did not cut the mustard basically because her vocals could not reach the heights of some of those theme nights. If you really listen to her vocal range and how she performs there is a country singer in her! I wish Kristie good luck in her musical endeavours!

I also felt that Syesha was the best peformance of the night. I am a little tired of Simon and Randy not being able to give Syesha her just reviews and the high fives she deserved! I am equally tired of them telling a pitiful performance that it was the da bomb or the best song of the night. I often think, really! what were they listening to. I further disagree with Randy Jackson that Mariah Carey’s song ” Vanishing is not well known”! Are you kidding me! Randy it depends on what era you are from! Those of us who has bought Mariah Carey’s music from the beginning of her career in the ninties know her song Vanishing very well!

In ending Kristie was gracious in her departure and thanked everyone for the opportunity, Simon has got his pleasant face on, Paula is working on expressing herself, which I think is much better then parroting others, Randy has got his dog on and Ryan has his bling on. I did enjoy the fact that Mariah Carey peformed this week on American Idol, because she is one of my favorite artists!

Next week Andrew Lloyd Webber who is a successful British Composer of musical theatre will be the theme.

Elliott Yamin sang last night as well on Idol : Free- It was nice to see him back on the show as well.
