Celebrities Failed To Listen- April Is Child Abuse Awareness Month

I have been taking in the Celebrity Apprentice for the last few weeks. To my surprise the cast of celebs are actually more interesting than I thought they would be in the interim. They also keep viewers interested in the show. Having said that I can’t say the same for Mr ” You’re Fired, Donald Trump”!

Last Sunday’s show left fans riveting in how Trump decided to fire two of the celebs. First I agree with the ” All execs” both videos did indeed suck. For some reason video tasks never seem to do well on any apprentice show, the celebs and past competitors usually tank on the task. Leaving execs of the product agasp with dismay that their product was massacred in video and commercial ad.

I also think that people in today’s society including celebs tend to” not listen to others” when they are talking. When Donald Trump explained the task to the celebs, “he unknowingly” gave them the ” key” words” that should have guided the celebrity apprentices on what to focus on with the All video task. He basically gave them a road map of what should have been in the video task. Trump said” My mother loved ” All” for years and my mother had been around for years! That sentiment by Donald Trump, was the operative words. ” All has been around for years and many women have used the product and stood by the product for the same amount of years. ” All is actually a generational product and the emphasis and focus in the video should have been that generation after generation of women have used the product.

Instead of going for humorous and comedy ( which is OK, but really how many women doing their families laundry, find humor in it, it is a daily and weekly chore”! As a women and mother who does laundry, what most women are looking for in any cleaning product is one they can attest to and stand by. A product that we know when we buy it, the product will do the job for us, without any extras of scrubbing and soaking .

The celebs definitely missed the boat and instead of going with comedy, jokes, humor, profanity, little people, they should have shown in their video generations of women using the product. From great- grandma, Nanny or Oma to the present day generation.

Clint Black’s video would have been better received if he had started from great grandma down to the young lass in skimpy clothes. ( The one that Trump was gushing over). Consumers and the target audience of women, would have gotten the pitch and the sell that ” All has been around through the eras and generations, and that there was no generation gap in women’s general consent of a product like ” All”. That women could stand by ” All” and it would not have been taken as a sexual suggestive ad as Clint’s team put out there.

I did not find the humor in Melissa Rivers video, what is so funny about ” exploiting people that are born with a handicap in their appearance?” I fail to see the humor in that! Further Melissa and her crew were not bright enough to edit out the profanity. Tell me how many mothers would want to buy the All product to wash their beloved families clothes with the knowledge that a commercial was put out with the faux pas of profanity”! How many mothers would even want their children or elder family members of the family to see the commercial. The celeb apprentices definitely missed the boat and dropped the ball.

Donald Trump failed miserably in his execution of firing two of the competitive celebs. Why was Tionne Fired? , because the Donald used a past decision to give her an unjust heave ho. Melissa Rivers should have been fired, not because she was the task manager, but as the leader of the pact, she failed to hit the target audience and whats more failed to see there is no humor in profanity when one is trying to sell a product. She may have been organized but she failed greatly in the task. Tionne who did well last week and won her task, was fired unjustly, Melissa DID NOT WIN HER TASK AS TEAM MANAGER SHE WAS THE ONE IN MY OPINION THAT SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE BOOT FROM THE DONALD.

The most disturbing firing last Sunday was when Donald hit man Trump, fired Khloe Kardasian. I not a fan of Khloe and was only a fan of her father” Lawyer ” Robert Kardasian”. Not his offspring, whom I still fail to see what their celeb is all about. In reality they are riding on their father’s fame and have not stood on their own two feet and even made a dent to have the celeb or recognition they have. Having said that, the fact is Khloe Kardasian is a young lass who in my opinion did NOT deserve Trumps dress down on national TV on a personal level. I am sorry I was disgusted how Trump used her past record of DUI to fire her. I would have rather he said, that she was useless in tasks and never contributed much in them to fire her. People make mistakes all the time including Donald Trump, while I agree with him that DUI kills innocent people and we all know someone these days that have lost a loved one through this criminal act. It is an illness and as long as people take responsibility as Khloe seems to be doing, and that she has learned from her mistake, Donald need not use it to hang her out to dry. Further, I was amazed the “The Donald” did not realize that alcohol is a drug and it is not a separate entity as most people think. It is for definition purposes considered a drug!

The ” Donald’s” high handed speech and judgment on Khloe Kardasian could inadvertently do more to harm her recovery than have her learn anything. Trump’s moral standards and values were screwed up with this firing and it was because of what I stated above, but also because he always uses the catch phrase ” It is not personal, it is business” . Can Donald Trump explain to us all, how he got very personal with Khloe Kardasian and contradicted a statement he is famous for and uses on the very show ” The Apprentice”!

Last and finally, Joan Rivers was an eyesore to look at and her mouth was too much. I never seen such a blatant disregard for another’s leadership in a task, as we all witnessed last Sunday night with Joan Rivers. I disagree with Donald Trump, Rivers was not right in her assumption that humor was the key ingredient in the focus of the task and the target audience. Not only did Rivers display a blatant disregard for Clint Black, she also came across as rude, selfish, self indulged, nasty ,crass and mean spirited. If anyone should have caught onto the generational focus, Joan Rivers should have in her age realized the generational use of the ” All” product.

What I perceived out of Joan Rivers is that she has the attitude ” Its my way or the highway”! Further, she basically was the reason that the task was not well managed as she was doing her utmost best to try and sabotage the task and did indeed turn the other team members against Black and his vision. Yes, he failed but they also failed as a team and Joan Rivers was the center of the failure.

It would serve Miss Joan Rivers well, to gain some humbleness and humility in her life, she is not the enigma of any task. While her ageism experience serves her well, her attitude stank of being selfish and nasty.
