I have been trying to wrap my thoughts around the recent passing of the King of Pop Mr Michael Jackson. It is not often that I am at a loss for words and Michael Jackson’s passing was one that like everyone else caught me by surprise and literally winded and gutted me to the deepest depths of my soul and heart.

Like everyone else I have been pretty much stumped by his sudden passing. I have also been busy maintaining his honor and integrity on a certain message board during this difficult time for his family, in which others were insistent on trying to continue shredding and nattering his legacy to dust and ugliness. I tell you I am exhausted, for twelve days I have had to debate and argue with the ignorant and unmerciful of mankind. In this twelve days of deep thought I figured out why I was at such a loss and so winded by his passing away. It is because I have literally taken the passing of the late great icon, mystique and legend of Michael Jackson personally as have millions of his fans along with his family and close friends. I held off writing anything because I wanted my article to be reflective of his legacy and great as the man that I am writing about. In the first few days of his passing I only managed to be able to reflect on this man who had such striking purpose and undeniable stature of genuine love and acceptance worldwide. A man of goodness and unequaled in his giving of self to everyone he ever spoke to, ran into and through his great legend and music. His kiss of life to those persons, his kiss of hope, his kiss of inspiration and love was his greatest legacy that will never be forgotten.

When Michael Jackson passed away, many reflections of his life came to me which had me recognize in him even more then I had known, it brought me solitude, unity, joy and love for him but also saddened me.  My very first thought when I listened to news of his death was that ” He is finally free”! and in a small way that was somewhat comforting for me personally. Different interviews with people that knew Michael Jackson up close and personal revealed what I had personally suspected that he was beyond the human experience of norm. A man that led but a man that was also praised, mocked, belittled, laughed at, humbled with humiliation and his connectivity to the universe and the world. A man that had the world at his feet yet continually having to face barriers of apathy and rejection. No matter how much he gave, he was given so little back by some people and mainly the professional media.

The fact is Michael Jackson was a great entertainer, icon and legend. He is one of the very, very few musical entertainers that has achieved being inducted into the music hall of fame not once but twice. He is toasted as being the “ most successful music entertainer of all time”. He has multiple and countless records that has not been broken or even near broken. He has won 13 Grammys and 13 Number one single hits. He was known for his legend, mystique and dynasty as the King Of Pop but also for his generosity and he has donated and raised millions of dollars for beneficial causes through his foundation, charity singles and support of 39 charities. In fact Michael Jackson personally donated 300 million to 500 million to different charities out of his own money. Listening to Donny Deutch argue with ED over Michael, he offered his own reflective thought based on the newer information that he was finding out about Michael Jackson. Donny Deutch offered that not only did Michael Jackson donate to great causes, he is literally responsible for saving, I repeat saving millions of lives. That in itself is a powerful legacy, in reality how many can say that they have even taken that example and are also responsible for saving millions of lives. In literal thought, if we leave this world saving one life, then our lives are said to be substantiated here on earth. Further how does one follow this type of example of goodness, love and greatness and universal incarnate and infallible in genuine spirit? What’s more how do we as a world of people bounce back from the passing of Michael Jackson?

In the past 12 days of following the news stories of myth, fabrications, legend and pro media trying to max their profits. I reflected on his life and reflected that Michael Jackson was bigger then big, undeniably huge, greater then great, mysterious and more mystique then in the eye of man. He was even more-so dynamic and dynastic then any of us really knew. We as humans were truly blinded by the true purpose of Michael Jackson’s existence here with us on earth. We were always reflecting on his entertainment and star, but never one of the bright shining star of the creator. Some of us knew more then others but sadly we are all still only finding out about how great he really was, how much he did and most of all how much he cared for human life and people. It saddens me to think that unfortunately some people did not care about him as they should have. That some people didn’t treat him well as they should have when he was living.

What’s more that the professional media never let this man have a moments peace or solace with his grace. In fact the pro media raked Michael Jackson through the coals for almost 40 years of his life. Thinking upon that notion of how he was treated by the sometimes treacherous wagging hostile tongues of the media, I wondered why such hatred was generated towards such greatness and goodness. Why the persecution and execution of literally slaughtering this man and his very soul? Then someone made a blingee and it simply said, ” Michael Jackson, Most Envied”! Those few words are the foundation of the truth of what led to such malice and contempt for Michael Jackson. The Nancy Grace’s of the media didn’t act on outrage and concern, they acted on hostility because they envied this man that came from nothing and became something. They also rode on his coat tails as he was an icon to discuss, humiliate, embarrass and dismiss in their quest to making great amounts of money by trashing him and trying to bring him down. They tried to bring him down, I would not say they were successful. In fact the more we find out about Michael Jackson’s other legacy aside from entertainment the more people are in profound contempt of these media types and of others whom made and extorted money off of him.

I thought and reflected and recoiled Michael Jackson’s life and legacy and came up with the following. Michael Jackson was not just the greatest entertainer that lived, he was not just an undisputed dancer that others mimic but have never gotten close to in his majesty of literally floating on air when he danced and he was not just a brilliant artist and singer. No, Michael Jackson was something more, something, unique, something bigger something beyond genius and incomprehensible to us as people as he existence was beyond greatness. Michael Jackson was the majesty of our creator speaking to us through him. He was indeed one of our creators great inspirations, he was indeed a light put here on this earth by our creator. May it be that you call our creator, God, Goddess, Jesus, Allah, Jah, Jehovah,  Adonai , etc.. etc. He was from the core of the universe and the heart, soul and mind of our creator.

In deep thought in this revelation, I came to realize in some teachings, we are told and aspired to believe that our creator works in mysterious ways and our creator picks someone that has nothing, is nothing and makes that chosen one something special, something mystique, and something that is the very glory of the omnipotent creator in majesty. Our creator guided the chosen one into greatness but also into speaking the creators words. In the life and journey of Michael Jackson he not only spoke the words of the creator he also did them and lived them. In all his legend he helped to heal this world and bring people together. He broke down the walls of resistance of oppression and racism. He walked in the cloak of the creators greatness, guidance and love.

Indeed those of that have put him asunder and proved to be contemptuous in their actions and falsified information to make his life and journey here miserable and unmeaning. Shame on you! You will have to bare the shame of your maliciousness and come to peace on that while grappling with your ugly spirit. For those of you who leeched and stole from him, shame on you. For those of you that made up false stories that hurt him to the depths of his soul and heart shame on you. For those of you who fabricated allegations to extort money from him, shame on you. For those media types who never let him rest, always expected better then best and caused him unrest, shame on you. For those of you in the media that could not allow the stories and malicious rumors go for just one day and on the day that Michael Jackson was commemorated, that his life was celebrated and he was to be laid to eternal rest, shame on you. For those of you who did not demonstrate sensitivity for one of our creators great inspirations and child, you will bare what you have done and what you greedily administered with out one ounce of sensitivity towards Michael Jackson, his family, close friends and his fans in mourning and grief. Shame on you. All of you will carry the burden of your own sick and morbid cruelty with your mean spirited and unyielding demonstrations of the ugliest of humankind. Shame on you.

It is unconscionable for any parent to lose a child, no matter how old they are. As parents we tend to think that we should predecease our children and when that does not happen and our child passes on, it is a parents worse nightmare and fear come true. I can only extend to Mrs Katherine Jackson who was her son’s solid rock and protector and to Mr Joe Jackson who worked two jobs to feed his family, who made grievous mistakes as any parent had in that era my regrets and my sympathies. At the end of the day no matter how we the fans feel about Michael Jackson he still and forever will be the son of Katherine and Joseph Jackson who had everything to do with his existence, his morals, his principals, his values and his love for this world.

Thinking upon the defiant and truthful words of Reverend Al Sharpton I too thank you for creating this wonderful man of human kindness whom was the very hand that reached out to people in the depths of despair. As Sharpton expressed to Michael Jackson’s three children, there was nothing strange about their daddy, it was strange what he had to go through and how he came out shining and sparkling as he kept going and he dealt with it on a daily contingency. The rumors that he was not close to his parents and siblings when that is in factual an undeniable outrageous lie. I can only say to the Jackson siblings he will forever be your brother because of all the memories you have shared with him in childhood and in adulthood like no other persons. Sibling love, riverey, protection and defense of each other. The most comfortable and at ease in life that Michael Jackson always seemed to be is when he was with his whole immediate family on stage and in his personal private life. To his children whom showed such reverence and love for their father my heart breaks for you, but I also admire your strength. Little Paris Jackson summed it up for all of us when she walked up to the Mic and said ” I just want to say ever since I was born my dad was the best dad you can ever imagine and I love him so much”! Through the eyes and tears of a child and on this day it was through the eyes and tears of his child.

The fact is the world wept for Michael Jackson, his family and close friends. We also wept for ourselves and what was taken from us. The passing of Michael Jackson didn’t draw a reaction because it would mean the end of the King of Pop or the Jackson Five, for without Michael there can never be a Jackson Five and there will always be only one King of Pop. No the world wept for the people’s grace, hope and saving, the people’s king of humanity, king of love, the king of togetherness and prince of peace. We wept as a world together, we wept with his mother, his father, his sisters, brothers and children and close friends. We wept and some of us will continue to weep for the loss of Michael Jackson.

Reflecting on other late greats such as John F Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr, Bobby Kennedy, Princess Diana, and now Michael Jackson, it occurred to me that the many spiritual influences of our creators greatness and mystic lights have went out.  They have been taken back, not because their work was complete, but because we as a people, and this world did not appreciate these gifts of love from our creator. Each person that I named had some formidable greatness placed in this world. Their mystique and legend about them, all iconic efforts to change and heal the world yet all were still only human. We are all interconnected branches of light to each other and we all are capable of lighting sparks to each other, however some people are put on this earth to serve as earthly angels; for they truly administer the word of our creator, inspiring the hope and love our creator.

How do we bounce back from these losses?  We will go on , but how will we go on. The majesty of our creator lives on through these icons and the greatness of these icons will forever be remembered.  I dearly hope we have learned and that we have grown through these inspirations we have all witnessed. Many of us had an inkling of the greatness of Micheal Jackson, but many did not deserve to know such greatness or glory of our creator, because of our spite and ignominious behavior towards him.

Since the passing of Michael Jackson I have reflected my thoughts on a man whom we watched grow up and whom could be like our own brother and son. A gifted, giving, generous man with a very big heart and soul. I reflected on his compassion for all humanity and living things. I reflected on his goodness, love and glory to this world. I reflected on his love for everyone and everything. I reflected sadly on how badly he was treated in this world. I reflected that he left this world a lonely broken down sweet soul whom never understood why some didn’t like him, why some mistreated him badly and with such disdain. An inspirational man and enigma who now only knows with his passing how many of us did love him as our own. However many of us love him for different reasons and now with his passing aspire to more than the first reason of entertainment. On the day of his passing and today I pay homage and tribute to Michael Jackson. Whom many in this world did not deserve to know the soul that our creator put here to make a difference in the lives of many people and charitable relevent needed causes. For all his icon, mystique and legend he was one of our creators inspirations and he was indeed beautiful.

He has finally been freed and has taken his final bow. May he rest in eternal loving peace in spirit, love and light!

Michael Jackson had one wish for his children, He wanted them, Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and Prince Michael II, known as Blanket, 7, to witness what the world saw, what he as a human being had accomplished. He wanted his children to be proud of him. Some argue and suggest that he never got to see that wish fulfilled. I personally beg to differ with that argument, I think his children and family will know what he has accomplished by the outpouring of grief and mourning from people all over the world when they found out of his passing. By the respectful peaceful assembly at his memorial by the people. The very people who’s lives he touched, inspired and changed. Michael Jackson was timeless and ageless and with that knowledge his children will and I believe have come to realize that their dad was beyond human greatness.  Yet a fragile person and in many ways he always saw things through the eyes of a child which was his inner child. God/ess given and taken back. Michael Jackson’s last wish has been fulfilled and will forever be fulfilled with his spiritual energy and kingly reverence of the creator.

In ending a reporter related that when she went to the Beverly Wilshire hotel, that she found herself amongst all of the Jackson family children. She said that Michael Jackson’s eldest son Prince Michael was suddenly standing before her and she asked him how he was. He said he was fine. The reporter said, she extended to Prince Michael that is must be a hard day for him.  The eldest child of Michael Jackson responded with the most relevant and brilliant response in representing his dad, he simply said” No, it is a good day”!

Finally, Michael Jackson was lent to us to inspire us in magnificence, brilliance and unrelenting patience and inspirational belief in mankind. It seems his young children have carried his teachings to them in their love for their father, because out of anyone Paris and Prince Michael led us today; with their brief and few words, showing their obvious love and affection for their father, demonstrating and revealing  for the people in us,  that Michael Jackson continued to love as he had always loved until his last breath. Thank-you Michael Jackson and may you lay your weary head down and rest now. Free at last, free at last, thank  God almighty that Michael Jackson is free at last.

One word to the professional media, perhaps you can show some respect for Michael Jackson by leaving his children alone and allowing them to continue on with their lives as children in the sanctuary of the privacy and protection he always sought for them. You dogged and chased JFK’s and Princess Diana’s children around all their lives, for this one time, have some conscious!

Michael Jackson in life inspired many but in his death and passing he humbled even more of us. In spirit what I have personally learned that those in family and friends that were closet to Michael Jackson, knew the man and not the rumour.

  1. HiYa,
I just want to say this is the most fitting article I have ever read about MIchael Jackson. I had been desperately wanting to read something exactly like this. Because this is what I have felt. I conclude that the world will never be a better place (as Michael Jackson wanted it to be), but people like Michael Jackson make it worth living in this not so better place. Thanks from the bottom of my heart for writing this. You have opened my heart in here, I guess the heart of millions who connect to Michael with something more than music, dance, celebrity adulation and humanity.

  2. Good Morning Shamone,

You are very welcome and thanks for your deep understanding of the connectiveness of how many of us felt. I wanted the article to be as reflective and great as the man I wrote about. I also hoped it would serve as some sort of comfort for those that really took his passing hard and personal.

    Have a good day~
    Thanks for your comment,

    Arne
