Hodge Podge Survivor & Then there is Fusty Rusty

After breathing and ingesting in the first two weeks of Survivor Samoa. I have come to the conclusion that Evil has a new name Russell H was nothing more then hopeful hype in the CBS advertising.

They gotta be kidding, they can’t be serious! Tell me it isn’t true. CBS Survivor wants us to believe that this little mutant imp whom looks like a fusty weevil and burns people socks is the highlight of their survivor season. They wish for us to believe that this silty canker sore whom sits there with his gut hanging out, and talks like a hillbilly is really their show stopping main character of the 19th survivor show. Oh he is! LMAO. Having said that, want to know what is scary? He will probably win survivor this season.

Fusty Rusty created a bit of a stir on the CBS Survivor board. Some parents weighed their concerns about CBS featuring and showcasing Fusty Rusty. There was debate going back and forth. My own thoughts are the following, while I understand a parents concern for their children. I can’t help but wonder why those same parents allow their children to watch the show. Why not turn on something else, change the channel or use their parental controls. What’s more is Survivor really a family show? In my opinion Survivor is not a family show.

When my children were younger they were not permitted to watch these type of shows. They are now in their teens and yes they watch some of these shows. As someone eloquently pointed out and what was discussed is that we cannot always protect our children from what they are going to run across in life here and there. We tend to protect our children from certain things in the younger stages of their lives and permit them to experience seeing some things as they grow and mature. We as parents simply count on our upstanding upbringing of our children to help and guide them through making the correct decisions. Better for a family that is watching the show to uphold their morals, values, principals and discuss with their children that character that Fusty plays then to try to shield them from it. ( That is if the parent feels the child is old enough and responsible enough to have that type of convo).

In reality once our kids hit high-school most everything we as parents protected them from is exposed to them. In the end it comes down to the parenting. Again, I don’t feel reality shows like survivor is a family show. It is up to the discretion of each parent as individuals to consider and act on what works for their household and their parenting of children. IMO

Evil has a new name and this of course is burning someone’s socks, and the rest of the nonsense he did to make himself ( snicker) notorious. LMAO

Some folks have warmed to Fusty Rusty ( me excluded). They think he is just great and he makes them giggle. Well, whatever makes a person’s toes warm and toasty. I don’t think I can hail  to you for good taste in men and reality show characters. However, to each his own. Some folks even went as far as to say he earned some respect for finding the immunity idol. Yes as luck would have it, Fusty Rusty was the one to find the first immunity idol. Yah, hooray, that just gives him more negotiation and bargaining power. Blech!!!

Nope Fusty Rusty does not do it for me. I was anticipating real down low, backstabbing, got you by your juggler action. True we are only two weeks in, but the hype was over done in comparison to what we got in Fusty.

The most exciting this week was when Yasmin went in the opposing camp and like a spitfire caused a ruckus. She took on Ben whom for lack of having nothing to say in his defence, he called her ghetto trash. Ben btw is the first person in survivor history of 19 seasons, to be kicked out of a competition. Ben and all the survivors were warned about  illegal cheap shot moves in the challenge. Ben persisted and got the boot. Perhaps Ben may want to revisit what ghetto trash is in himself and his actions.

Then we had Shannon( Shambo)  whom said she was an expert at catching fish.  Yea Baby she was going to bring fish back to the camp for her fellow tribe members.  Shambo ended up bathing on her back in the sludge of the swamp, and she lost some of the equipment her tribe had won in the competition . Her tribe I am sure were real impressed, since they were probably feeling the pain of that win of fishing gear. Shambo oohed and aahed and shared with us she had not had the opportunity to bathe so she was going to take advantage of her time alone in the swamp. LMAO, at the very least she could have picked the clear, clean water of the ocean. But noooooooooooo the swamp was Shambo’s gratification of having a real good bath!

For all the fuss and muss that was advertised, so far it was been nothing but a hodge podge of the goofy and mishaps of a most mismatched set of survivors we have seen. Still they will do and we will continue to bite away and talk about them in a most profuse way.

I think the most interesting of the season may be when Fusty Rusty’s fellow tribe members find out he was the one that sabatoged the camp. At the same time I would not hold my breath, because it won’t happen in the earliest of the show. We will most likely get to see deep into the show.

Marissa was voted out the first week and Betsy the second week. Mike had to be taken out of the game for medical reasons.

Until next week Survivor Samoa fans. In the meantime stay away from the Russell’s H’s of the world. You can do much better then creeps like that.

Habs Vs Florida Win 3-2

Montreal Canadians won thier first exhibtion game against the Florida Panthers. Scott Gomez, Michael Cammalleri and Matt D’Agostini scored in the first two periods for Monteal.  David Booth Backhand  and Evgeni Dadonov replied in the third period for Florida. It was a bit of an chippy game in the third period.  Les Habitants prevailed and took the win.  Ah the hockey season has begun, that makes me happy.

Um excuse Kanye is it? Who the hell do you think you are sir? Who are you to walk on any stage at any time and dare to interrupt someone else’s moment to shine?

How was Taylor Swift suppose to respond to that selfish self absorbed act? Taylor Swift is a young girl and she simply did not know how to handle Kanye West whom is suppose to be a man in his thirties. Taylor didn’t finish her speech, started crying and walked off the stage. Psst Kanye you are an arse, and this act of yours was a monument to stupidy for your memoirs! Further did Beyonce ask you to do this on her behalf? NO! You not only embarrassed Taylor and yourself you also embarrassed Beyonce. Kanye is a total pompous arrogant arse in my humble opinion!

Simply Kanye West had no right to do what he did to Taylor Swift. It doesn’t matter what he thinks on whom had the best video. Simply nobody can win it all and everything at any given time. It is the fans that vote and at the end of anything one has to respect the fans and their votes.

Kanye did not get escorted out of the MTV awards unscathed. Taylor Swift’s Mama was there to greet him and she apparently took ten strips out of his thick hide and then some. As I have said in some articles don’t start pissing off parents, they will defend their babies and Taylor’s mama, defended her baby. Gives me a good heckling chortle to know this. I just wish I could have been there for the after-math of Kanye picking his sorry assed butt off the ground after taking on and in the unshakable wrath of Taylor’s mom. LMAO

At the end Beyonce showed why she is so well received and made a gesture of not only class but trying to repair the damage that what was done to Taylor Swift by the moranic act of Kanye West. She had Taylor come out and finish her acceptance of the award when she won music video of the year. Beyonce should not have had to do that, it was not her responsiblity it was Kanye West’s responsibility to go back on the stage and apologize. Twitter apology does not cut it for me Kanye!

Taylor looked like a winner, Beyonce looked like a winner and Kanye looked like a moron, imbecile and an idiot. The clear winner was Taylor’s mom ! Whom made Kanye eat some motherly humble pie. Mother’s have a neat way of doing that when they take on childish immature acts of people.  ( I am still laughing at the thought of Taylor’s mom taking down Kanye).

I truly hope this is the exposure that Kanye was hoping for in being the talk of the MTV awards. I always love to help out when it comes to egotistical eroded assholes! Grin!!!!

Congratulations Taylor Swift, you deserved to win like anyone else.

Kanye did apologize. I guess so after Taylor’s mom got finished with him. However, his act will always be a memory and a bad one for Taylor Swift. There are assholes that we run into everyday and Kanye West is one major asshole!

Survivor Samoa Debut Thursday Sept 17,2009

Survivor will debut its 19th season this coming Thursday Sept 17, 2009. Survivor Samoa looks like it will be very interesting. CBS promo’s have promised that Evil has a new name! Time will tell if CBS promo lives up to their hype and spiel. At any rate because of the promo I decided to write about the season.

I just find it almost classic and ironic that Evil having a new name would be Russell. It sounds like we are either going to love him or hate him and other cast members. But like one cast members said for a million bucks she is willing to do anything. Sounds interesting folks.

Catching up on HK- Oh The Calamity and Chaos

I have been watching HK all season, I simply did not have time to write about it until now. This seasons Hell’s Kitchen has not disappointed faithful fans. The season kicked off weeks ago with a roaring start of thunder, lightning, fire and brimstone. The aftermath of the burning cinders and smoldering ashes left fans salivating in anticipation of what calamity would arise to set head honcho Chef Gordon Ramsey ranting and venting once more.

We had the usual antics of Master Chef and teacher Gordon Ramsey that we as viewers have come to expect.  Out and out challenges  of face offs of fisticuffs duals with aspiring chefs and Gordon Ramsey . The most baffling is when lovable Jean Phillippe became all hot and bothered and started screaming for respect and commanded attention.

In the first few segments we saw Joseph whom out and out got nose to nose with Ramsey while tearing off his jacket.  Tough guy Joseph asserted to Ramsey ” He ain’t nobody’s bitch”! He was unceremoniously escorted out of HK and out of the building. ( I sometimes wonder if every now and then, a competitor doesn’t take a bet to pull these antics and man up with Ramsey). In the same segments we even saw Maitre D  Jean Phillipe almost getting into a brouhaha with then aspiring chef Van. Then the reemergence of aspiring chef Robert Hesse happened, whom upon his demise in week 7  put on a Jackie Gleason remake of comedy, as one last desperate grasp for life in HK. Robert’s comedy routine was interesting and entertaining, but was not enough to have him avoid his demise.

Catching up on all that has transpired on the show in the previous weeks.Who has already met their demise so far ending and crushing their dream to run a upscale fine restaurant in Whistler, BC.

Week 1- Melinda Meany- She seemed to be very intimidated by HK and Chef Gordon Ramsey. Melinda’s appetizers simply were not appealing. Louie Cordio was thrown out of the kitchen and eliminated by Ramsey before dinner service completed. He simply didn’t have the lamb chops that were up to Ramsey’s standards.

Week 2- Joseph faces off with Ramsey and viewers are left to only anticpate what is going to occur  the next show.

Week 2 continuance- Tony D’Alessandro was asked to leave the Kitchen. Tony has since did an interview and thinks of Ramsey as an ass. Joseph also leaves in smoke out of HK. Joseph was removed from the show . As he left he bellowed that any kitchen would be “proud” to have him. I think that Joseph’s thing was that he saw much more in terms of fright and fear; being that he was an ex marine whom served his country. I also think in the Marines their theme is ” we are men of honor and respect”. I just think that Joseph could respect leadership and orders, he couldn’t respect or bow to insults and offensiveness that Ramsey usually displays. What Ramsey forgot is that Joseph and other men that serve their country are treated like men. I think that was what his issue was as opposed to ego.

Week 3- A stay of execution, for Tenille and Lovely. Joseph’s face off with chef Ramsey saved both Tenille and Lovely for one week.

Week 4- Lovely didn’t last long. Frankly she needed a lot of rest and to catch her breath in intervals of cooking. She just could not cut the mustard!

Week 5- Tek gets the call to leave HK, she simply brought her team down in the meat station.  She also did not or could not listen to other team members advise on how to cook meat. Time was a factor. That week a Marine comes home and his homecoming is celebrated by his family and friends in HK.

Week 6- After a dismal, and disgraceful service Jim is eliminated. He was elmininated more so because he had showed no emotion  or get up and go. Ramsey seemed to think that Jim have given up or simply did not care.

Week 7- Robert met his demise, even though he put on a good Jackie Gleason comedy routine to try to shave off elimination.

Week 8- Amanda meets her end even though she was not nominated, Chef Ramsey summonsed her to the galley along with the two nominations. Ramsey thought that Amanda was a nice girl, but nice finished last.

Week 9- This past Tuesday Hell’s Kitchen ended another nightmare for an aspiring Chef. Andy whom had been on the execution line several times, was sent home. He was up against big mouth Suzanne whom managed to stay her execution for the second week in a row.

So far HK has gotten rid of the worst of the aspiring chef’s, however there are still a couple  left before we get to the crème de la crème of aspiring chefs. Competitors that have been for the most part consistent and deserve a run at trying to make F2 and to run their own restaurant.

The Crème de la crème this season of HK are the following and not in any necessary rank or order as number one or top.

1. Van Hurd

2. Kevin Cottle

3. Dave LeVey

4. Tenille Middleton

5. Ariel Contreras

In my view these five competitors are almost equal and anyone of them can win the prize. Although both Ariel and Kevin have been the most consistent and the most calm in HK. Dave would be next after Kevin and Ariel. Tenille and Van both have huge egos, they can cook when left to their own devices but their egos define them and could lead to their downfall. It remains to be seen. Still these are the five that impress me the most in watching the season in the past weeks. No question all five have what it takes to be crowned season 6 HK winner. It will be dependent from here on in if they cave into pressure, give up or mess up badly if they survive. What is even more impressive is that Kevin and Dave are working with injuries and yet still produce over those aspiring chefs in good physical health.

The worst of the best left are

1.Suzanne Schlicht

2.Sabrina Gresset

Simply Sabrina does not seem to care to much when she makes mistakes, she makes light of errors and kinds of shrugs it off. Sabrina has messed up many times but managed to fly under the radar based on how she is liked instead of her cooking skills. She is a good enough cook but I don’t think she has what it takes to run a restaurant. She is simply to free of a spirit and care free.

Suzanne- is the chaotic one in the kitchen and for her team. She pretends to be busy, she loves to order everyone around but when it comes down to it, she is not a team player, nor does she try to work with a team effort. She has more times then not messed up her team with her cooking advise, then she throws them under the bus. The girls finally spoke up to Suzanne and indeed told Chef Ramsey all about Suzanne’s antics. This week Suzanne was one of the worst and nearly took down her team. It was just fortunate for her that Andy was even worse then her and had been up on the chopping block several times. Fortunate indeed.

Chef Ramsey threw out all the worse of the teams this week. The reaming inspiring chefs in Arial, Tenille, Van, Kevin and Dave maxed it and completed dinner service. I think that should send red flags and warning bells to the remaining competitors whom were thrown out of the kitchen and did not complete dinner service. Me thinks their days are numbered in HK.

This season of HK’s is definitely entertaining with the Chaos, Calamity and Zany characters in the kitchen. Out of fairness to all of the competitors whom have been asked to take off their jackets and leave HK. It cannot be easy to work with Chef Gordon Ramsey, with his high flying insults, rude behavior and yelling and screaming. Nevertheless, many kitchens in many restaurants are run in the same manner. The Head or executive chefs yelling and screaming their faces off. The pressure gets to them and these top chefs take errors personally and are insulted when the errors reoccur. They feel it reflects on their back and reputation.

One thing for sure and one has to give the nod to Chef Gordon Ramsey, he definitely knows how to separate the wheat from the chaff. He is very precise and exact. He knows exactly what he is looking for in an aspiring chef to run another restaurant that has his trademark on the person who wins. Despite his temperamental antics one has to give him his due. He did not make his success by not knowing and not being picky or selective of all whom work with him and under him.

BB Wants Your Vote America- Remembrance of 9/11

September 11th is a day of remembrance and reverence to all those people who’s lives have been taken and lost. Reverence to those that are still fighting for their country. It can be considered a second day of Independence and freedom for America. As well as a union of all those countries globally that support the United States of America and all the troops in every country whom are still fighting for the benefit of all of us who evolve in the right to freedom. ~Arnelle Durocher~

I noted last night that the CBS announcer relating how viewers could vote online was very rushed. He spoke so fast, it left a person thinking ., “What! whoa, what did he say? ” Hello!!!  nobody could possibley catch all of what was said by the fast talking CBS announcer. Slow down buddy in the future, fans may want to vote online and not pay for text messages. Which I noted the same announcer said very clearly and slowly to make sure viewers heard in full how to text message and pay for their vote. In case the jury is deadlocked at 3-3 tie for F2 and in order to crown the BB11 winner at the live finale, America gets to vote. One can either text message their votes or go to CBS and vote online.

There are three scenarios on how to vote.

1. If Jordan and Kevin make it to final 2

2. If Kevin and Stinky( Natalie) make it to final 2

3. If Jordan and Stinky make it to final 2

Whom do you want to vote for to win. CBS leaves fans to click on each of the three scenarios.

If it comes down to it, then America will be the final vote in replacement of Chima whom quit the game. So far in jury it seems that the first three jurors are in unison over not giving Stinky the prize. So far, they could change their mind at any given time. With Michele now joining the jury Kevin or Jordan seems to have it in the bag to win the whole thing if they sit against Stinky. However the jury may be just as grateful to the HG that sends Stinky packing as the last evicted HG. Lydia and other jurors seem to want to see Stinker Bell in jury with them.

In terms of game I still don’t think Kevin made all the moves, but he at least made some big and huge moves in the house to further himself in the game. The jury may respect that, he was able to pull it off at the end. Further they may respect that sitting in a F2 against Jordan or Stinker Bell he is the only one that was willing to get his hands bloody. Where as Jordan really has not done that much to merit a full victory and win. Of course if the jury is angry at Kevin then reflects on Jordan needing the money, it could turn her way. Traditionally the past BB jury has voted on which of the F2’s game-play they respected the most. I would love to see Jordan get the 50,000 but not the half of million, based simply on her game-play vs Kevin’s.

I simply respect his game over Jordan and most definitely over Stinker Bell. I sincerely hope F2 comes down to Kevin and Jordan. Either way they both get some money. Stinker deserves to be in jury.

We Have Been Saved- Hallelujah- Evil Is Gone!

Well tonight’s show was as good as it is going to get for the rest of the season, with Jordan pulling off a win over evil Stinker Bell in the second part of the HOH competition. That was about the only part of the show that did my heart good. Jordan winning and Stinky explaining at the end why she lost once more. She always has an excuse other then she sucks big time in competitions!!

Briefly, stupid stinky’s theme on evil, is really just a load of babbling on her part. I can’t believe stinky is that stupid. Stinker Bell declared with the most authoritative voice she could assert, of being the one that shields the BB HG’s from evil if you will. LMAO!  I mean Stinky acts like she received instruction from the omnipresence that she was to  become the exorcist and eradicate evil within the BB house . In the most elated vocal stinky could muster, she said in a booming, unyielding voice and declared that” Michele is gone, thus Evil was gone”. When Stinky made herself the very authority of the voice of God/ess. On her say so and declaration, I immediately and without hesitation rushed and retrieved holy water. I lit my holy candles, lit incense and threw myself onto the ground, trembling and quivering with fear of the evil she spoke of. I then got on my knees and prayed with absolute joy and thanksgiving that Stinky banished and vanquished ( quiver) evil out of the big brother house. I was weeping with happiness and gave praise of elation. NOT!
Hooray, Hallelujah, Whoopee, we the BB viewers and all of western society can rest peacefully and comfortably now. Alas let it ring out to all the lands and countries on earth, Stinker Bell saved us from the one that should not be named! Michele the evil presence in the BB house is gone, banished, vanquished, evicted. Give thanks and praise Hallelujah!!! Thank-you Stinky. ( Rolls eyes)

Give me a freakin break, I don’t think that Stinky would know evil if it hit her in the face, the arse or upside her dense and empty head. I think that Stinky has spent way to much time in the BB house, picking her face and other body parts. Stinky set herself to be the very grace of salvation and then ignores the fact that many fans detest her and can’t stand her. This BS of playing the Pope, Jesus Christ and even the Creator is laughable. Is that what CBS has left in HG’s for our utter entertainment? No thanks! This is the time that they need to use their editing skills and spare the fans the Bullshit! It is almost an insult to most viewers intelligence.

If I wanted to watch a self righteous, cultist, dogmatic, narrow extreme view of a dystopic fundamentalist, mind-numbing, jargon spouting , puerile extremist ;I would watch shows of that nature. ( I won’t go there since I have a different view on religious shows)! Phew, it was hard to grasp this much ignorance all in one show. Have I mentioned I don’t care for Stinky, in fact I can’t stand her and detest her. LMAO

To fill in five mins of the show BB brought in four former HG’s. ED, Janelle, Danielle and Boogie. Now when JC said that they were great players, I agree with three out of four. Again I have a different perspective on Boogie and really feel that he was lucky enough to be in a showmance and have Dr Will. That is the only way he won all stars. I would not call Boogie’s game-play strategic. I mean instead of Boogie they needed to bring Dan out, now he was a strategic, caclulating great player. Whats more fans could respect and appreciate his game-play. Danielle was a good game player but really were did it get her, in the two times she was on BB. Evicted and coming in second best.

I am not so sure if I like the idea of this new way that BB introduced for the final three. All three HG’s stay in the house so they can stretch out their season. I would have rathered that after tonight’s show, we knew who the final HOH was, evict a HG and get on with it. I did enjoy seeing Jeff. He took his loss and facing the jury like a man and very well. Right now as it stands the jury would not vote for a win for Stinky, still things could change in a instant  flat second. Sunday’s show is going to be scenes that we apparently haven’t seen. Bloopers so to speak. I don’t know if I will tune into that show on Sunday. I don’t see why they couldn’t have the finale on Sunday, instead of dragging it on until Tuesday for the season ending.

Montreal Canadians Exhibition Game Schedule

The hockey season is rearing to go and with this comes hockey fans first look at their team. Mine being Les Habitants. Montreal will play five out of seven exhibition games at home at the Bell Center and two on the road.

They are lined up against, Boston, Ottawa, Pittsburgh, Florida, and Buffalo.

Hockey season is here and I couldn’t be happier
